Would you like to become a Patron of my next record?

 

Everywhere I go, folks ask me about private concerts. I don’t do them too often any more, but if you are interested in this type of concert, I’ve decided to offer 10 in the coming year to pay for the creation of my new full length record.

 

Right now it’s really tough for musicians to find enough capital to fund their projects. It’s harder to sell the music we make with digital streaming platforms basically giving our music away for free. It’s hard to turn away from the accessibility of these platforms because so many people use them and we want people to be able to find our music.

 

This is why I’m turning to my community for support. I can provide you with a special personalized concert and in turn you can help to fund my record.

This type of private concert can be a very meaningful event. Birthdays, Weddings, Gatherings, Proposals, Anniversaries, Celebrations… you name it. You (or a loved one of your choice) will also be listed and thanked in the album liner notes.

 

AND lastly, you'll get to hear the album early and receive a signed copy of the vinyl with a personalized thank you note <3

Cost: $5,000 upfront (Venmo, PayPal)

Availability: First come, first serve. 10 Concerts available

Location: Anywhere in the US (accessible by reasonable travel means)

Date: Will be determined based on availability and your ideal time frame

When: Any time in the next 3 years

What: A solo 45-90 minute concert from May Erlewine

 

Q&A

 

Q: Can I charge money for the tickets?

A: Yes, as long as it is not promoted publically online or in print media

 

Q: Can I request the songs I want to hear?

A: Yes, as long as I feel I can perform the song solo and do a good job for you, I will play any song of mine you request. I will limit cover song requests to one song.

 

Q: Can it be for my wedding ceremony/proposal/cocktail hour?

A: Yes, as long as we can accommodate the date

 

Q: What happens if there is a problem with weather or travel and the event cannot happen?

A: We will do our best to offer one reschedule option. If I have already traveled to the destination and you cancel last minute, there will be no reschedule option unless it falls within the trip and availability while I am there.
